Everyone who picked up an auto magazine or saw a documentary about electric cars knew the Tesla Roadster... It was the electric dream car that CAME TRUE! Well at least for the millionaires who could afford them.

We have a love-hate relationship with this car. We tried many times to review the car... Tesla never even returned our phone calls and emails. The Roadster did receive rave reviews in the major magazines Tesla paid for advertising... go figure?

Ok, Ok, Tesla was bank rolled by gazillionaire Elan Musk and we are just ElectricCars.com (you know the ground zero of the worldwide phase of gas burning cars) But, what was it? Did they fear we would s give a truthful unbiased review?

Roadsters hit the streets by the thousands and the real world reviews proved some aspects of the $100k plus car were "disappointing".. But, We still honor the Roadster for showing the world EV's did not have to look like refrigerators...
