A
vision of the future, today - powered by TH!NK
technologies
Ford has announced a new division for advanced
vehicles: the TH!NK brand, and will sell a range of
small electric vehicles and bikes in the United
States and elsewhere. The new line initially will
include an electric urban car, a golf cart-type
electric vehicle for use in resort areas or closed
communities, and two electric bicycles. In future
Ford hopes to apply this technology to creating
pollution-free fuel cell vehicles that are powered
by electricity generated from the combination of
hydrogen and oxygen. For today, one of the vehicles
- the TH!NK City - is a battery electric powered
two-seat commuter which is built in Norway.
The TH!NK is 2 passenger electric city car which
was first shown in Brussels in Oct. 1998. It is
made for commuting in and around the city while
being environmentally friendly, reliable, and
economical.
