Van
Although the Electric Varica Van is not yet
available it will offer the utility and convenience
of today's minivans plus more. The van is lighter
than a GEO Metro but will handle a payload equal or
exceeding that of many American vehicles. The van
"gliders" (new vehicles without drivetrains) are
being imported under an agreement with China
Motors. It is expected that the vehicles will use
advanced lead-acid batteries and share the same
drivetrains as BAT's current models.
